Bed & Breakfast Leopoldo in Florence was born as a project of Danilo, a young man from Salento who came to Florence to study Human Resources. The name “Leopoldo” comes from the Piazza in which the B&B stands.
One day, while talking with real estate owner Vincenzo Taverna about what to do after university, the idea of B&B Leopoldo was born. Thanks to the constant support of Vincenzo, it has been possible to create with satisfaction Bed & Breakfast Leopoldo.
Originally, the B&B consisted of 3 rooms. After three years of hard work, and after having gained the necessary experience, the number of rooms grew from 3 to 6.
With this growth came also the growth of the staff, with new collaboators and interns such as Berenice and Lorenza.
After four years of activity, the staff of the B&B grew again with the arrival of the great Danilo 2, an enterprising youth from Caserta who married himself to the cause of the B&B, helping to preserve intact the passion and love for hospitality...qualities that from the very first day have distinguished our B&B.
Over the course of the years, we have taken into consideration all of the suggestions of our clients, allowing us to offer a service very attentive to our guests' needs.
At the end of January 2011, Danilo 2 followed his amore (ahem) to Bologna, and left his post to Fabio and Chiara, two polite, attentive Tuscan youths.
